Prince William has given a rare interview in the British Heart Breakfast in the radio program. In the interview, William also talked about his wife Princess Catherine’s recovery from cancer.

– She is an incredible mother, wife and literally our family could not survive without her, William said in the interview.
Earlier in May, Catherine made her first official visit abroad after her cancer treatments. CNN’s Catherine did a work trip with the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood. Catherine founded the organization in 2021 to raise awareness of the importance of early childhood in later life outcomes.
Catherine traveled to the small Italian town of Reggio Emilia, where she appeared smiling and waving. Catherine received the city’s highest honor, the Primo Tricolore award.
In a radio interview, William said he was proud of Catherine.
– He has experienced a lot in the last couple of years especially. He had been looking forward to the trip to Italy a lot. I’m really happy that it went well, William stated in the interview.
William described Catherine as a true professional in the field of early childhood education. He says that Catherine did a lot of background work before the trip to Italy.
William also outlined in the interview that the family still needs to continue managing the workload of the visits.
– Such trips take a lot of energy. We have to keep it balanced, make sure he’s fit and rested. But he’s in good shape, William stated.
Catherine said in March 2024 that she was sick with cancer. He received chemotherapy for the disease, and said in January of last year that the cancer was in remission.
Catherine’s last independent business trip was to Denmark in 2022.
