Norwegian weatherman Raymond, Raymond Mens’ friend, does not want to appear in Today Inside. He thinks it is an ordinary program. “And is now exploring in a village further away!”
Today Inside’s staff outing is on a grand scale: all faces of the program are flown to Curaçao, including supporters, and Corendon’s customers pay for it. Raymond Mens is also now on the island, together with his angry partner who is also called Raymond, but has this averted their relationship crisis?
Almere villa
Gerard Joling said in VI that he had visited Raymond’s Norwegian friend at home in Almere to give him a turn and Raymond Mens agreed with a deadly serious face. Most people assumed that the gentlemen had loose sexual morals, but it turned out to be a joke, but no one noticed.
Anyway: when Raymond came home after that broadcast, the crockery flew through his new Almere villa. His friend was really in disarray. He fears that his alleged lovemaking with Geer will now stick with him forever. Then Raymond was deeply disturbed on TV: his friend had forced a public correction.

Raymond then: “He says: ‘I don’t want to be on screen with your ordinary program!’ No, I think he was in the pool all day.”

Johan Derksen is not happy about that rejection. “We can arrange for him to book a flight back tonight,” he jokes.
Wilfred: “The fun thing is: we have installed a secret camera in your room. Let’s switch over. No, that’s true. Haha, you were shocked!”
Where exactly is his friend? Raymond: “He was lying by the pool all day and I think he was just looking to see what kind of city is around here.”
