Deutsche Bahn responded to the mask zoff with Mario Barth (49) – and used the comedian’s stage program.
Barth was upset about being kicked out during his train journey on his Facebook and Instagram pages. He was forced to abort his train journey and disembark after being spotted without a mask. His personal details were also recorded.
“Masks are compulsory on our trains, you know, you know?” the group now comments under Barth’s video. And alludes to the language used by Barth in his sketches and performances.
The mask zoff
According to his own statements, Mario Barth flew out of a Deutsche Bahn train because he was not wearing a face mask. A Bahn train manager complained about the missing mask on Friday evening in an ICE from Berlin to Frankfurt and called the federal police, who let Barth get off the train in Hanau.
According to BILD information, there was a heated argument between a train attendant and Mario Barth, one word led to another.
Because the comedian had disregarded the mask rule, the train attendant finally made use of his domestic rights and informed the federal police.
Barth complained about the incident, initially saying he had been drinking in his compartment and was therefore not wearing a mask. He later admitted that in the previous recording of a live video from the train, he did not wear a mask because he thought it was not necessary in a compartment.

According to BILD information, Barth’s personal details were recorded on the platform, the situation is said to have been very polite and without excitement. Then the comedian took a taxi with his friends and drove to Frankfurt Airport.
A spokesman for Deutsche Bahn told BILD: “The statutory mask requirement applies on our trains. That also applies to Mario Barth.”
