Metallica will play on May 22nd & 24th, 2026 at Deutsche Bank Park Frankfurt. All information about the gigs here.
Metallica are stopping in Frankfurt with their “M72 World Tour” – twice. On Friday, May 22nd, 2026 and Sunday, May 24th, 2026, the US metal band will play in Deutsche Bank Park. Both dates are part of the tour’s “No Repeat Weekend” tradition: two back-to-back concerts with completely different setlists and support acts. Anyone who experiences both evenings will not hear a song twice. All information at a glance here.
Tickets
Both show days are completely sold out. The VIP and hospitality tickets are also no longer available.
Any remaining quotas and fan sales are only available via the official ticket shops ticketmaster.de and eventim.de. Deutsche Bank Park expressly warns against purchasing on secondary market platforms such as Viagogo, StubHub or Ticketbande.
times
Admission opens at 4 p.m. at all five entrances (E1 to E5). According to the organizers, the concert starts at 6 p.m. and is expected to end around 11 p.m.
Important for parking space planning: The forest car park opens at 2:30 p.m., other parking areas from 3 p.m., the underground car park (only with a permit) from 3:30 p.m.
Support
The two concert evenings have different supporting bands:
May 22: Gojira and Knocked Loose
May 24: Pantera and Avatar
Venue address
The concert will take place in Deutsche Bank Park. The address is: Mörfelder Landstraße 362, 60528 Frankfurt am Main.
Arrival by public transport
The admission ticket includes the RMV-KombiTicket, which entitles you to free arrival and departure. It must be activated beforehand via Ticketmaster or Eventim.
From Frankfurt Central Station, tram line 21 and special line 20 run every 3 minutes to the Stadion stop. From there it’s a ten to fifteen minute walk; the nearest entrance is E1.
By bus you can take line 61 or special line 80, which run between Frankfurt Airport and Südbahnhof. Exit stops: stadium pool and east stand. From there it’s about a ten-minute walk to the stadium; the next inputs are E1 and E3.
Arrival by car
Due to limited capacities, Deutsche Bank Park expressly recommends traveling by public transport. If you still come by car, you should arrive in good time – May 22nd is also WÄLDCHESTAG, which means additional traffic jams can be expected.
Park
Parking spaces around the stadium must be reserved via the Deutsche Bank Park parking pre-booking.
There are 34 public parking spaces on Flughafenstrasse available for people with reduced mobility who have a blue severely disabled parking permit.
Setlist
Both concert evenings have different setlists due to the “No Repeat Weekend” format. There is no official announcement, but a look at the first shows of the European tour gives a good impression.
At the tour opener on May 9, 2026 in Athens, the setlist looked like this:
- Creeping Death
- For Whom the Bell Tolls
- Moth Into Flame
- King Nothing
- Lux Æterna
- The Unforgiven
- Fuel
- Kirk and Rob Doodle
- Fade to Black
- Wherever I May Roam
- Nothing Else Matters
- Sad but true
- One
- Seek & Destroy
- Master of Puppets
- Enter Sandman
In Bucharest (May 13, 2026), “Moth Into Flame” and “King Nothing” were replaced by “Holier Than Thou” and “Harvester of Sorrow”.
Classics from the “Black Album” and “Ride The Lightning” as well as individual tracks from the current album “72 Seasons” (2023) can be expected.
“Enter Sandman” and “Master of Puppets” are traditionally spread over the two evenings in the “No Repeat Weekend” format – if you want to hear both songs, you have to attend both gigs.
Age restrictions
According to organizer Live Nation: No entry for children under six years of age. Children and young people up to the age of 16 are only allowed into the stadium when accompanied by a legal guardian and with written permission.
Further details on stadium rules, prohibited items and hospitality can be found on the official Deutsche Bank Park information page.
