The IFA Berlin is continuing to expand its music program: After performances by BUNT. and Luciano, the “Ikkimel & Friends Open Air” has now been announced. The Berlin rapper will appear on the Sommergarten stage on September 5, 2026. Ikkimel was already part of the program at the Berlin exhibition center in 2025.
With the artist’s commitment, the IFA is continuing its course of combining entertainment and technology more closely. The summer garden once again functions as an open-air area parallel to the technology fair and specifically appeals to a younger audience. According to the organizers, visitors also receive access to the trade fair with their concert ticket. The IFA runs from September 4th to 8th at the Berlin exhibition center.
More music
The summer garden is now an integral part of the IFA’s supporting program. In recent years, Bryan Adams and Deine Cousine, among others, have performed there. According to the organizers, more than 45,000 people came to the outdoor shows in 2024 and 2025.
IFA CEO Leif Lindner described the open-air concept as an opportunity to bring technology, culture and lifestyle more closely together and also to attract people to the trade fair who would otherwise have no traditional connection to technology.
Ikkimel: More song material up our sleeves
Ikkimel can be experienced live in this setting for the second time. In 2025 she had her debut album “Fotze” with her at the IFA gig, but now her second record, “Poppstar” is out and can also complement her live set.
About the debut follow-up, which was released in May, ME author Rebecca Spilker wrote, among other things: “14 tracks, all relevant, even if they were thrown out quickly, it seems to me. Doesn’t matter. Why? Because it’s only marginally about musical innovation. It’s about blasting out attitude and anger. And about the aggressive “So, you’ll get that back”.”
Big tour and festival appearances in 2026
Parallel to the album release, Ikkimel announced her biggest headline tour to date through Germany, Austria and Switzerland for November 2026. Several indoor shows and festival appearances in German-speaking countries are planned.

Among other things, the rapper will perform on November 25th in Frankfurt, on November 27th in Düsseldorf and on November 29th in Berlin. There are currently no more tickets available for purchase for the shows.
