Frank Masmeijer’s girlfriend was taken from her apartment covered in blood. Was this indeed a domestic accident, as he claims? “This is very vague.”

Half of Landsmeer was in turmoil last Saturday evening: Frank Masmeijer’s girlfriend, Anita, was towed from her apartment and an air ambulance was even deployed. He himself claims that she suffered from low blood pressure and fell with her face into a vase, but given his criminal past there are doubts.

Seven or eleven?

Private boss Evert Santegoeds points out that Frank does not even remember whether this happened in the early evening or late in the evening. “What exactly happened is a bit unclear, because Frank says: ‘I don’t remember whether it was at 7 p.m. or 11 p.m., but she was making red cabbage’, but I don’t think you do that at 11 p.m.”

Frank himself says otherwise Show news: “Well, we were at home. Anita went to make some delicious red cabbage, which was nice in the kitchen and I went to the bedroom for a moment. I heard a huge bang, I was shocked, so I came back to the room and there she was lying in the glass and completely covered in blood. She has been suffering from very low blood pressure lately.”

Fainted

Anita did not get well, according to Frank. “She fainted and fell completely into a glass vase. So I came running and I slipped on it, I also have a scratch on my forehead. I called 911 and they were there in no time. They even hoisted her all the way down from the balcony with the fire brigade.”

Then she went to the hospital in the ambulance. “Fortunately she was in good hands there, but it was a bad evening. I know Anita was cooking. I don’t remember exactly what time it was. Those are not times to look at your watch. Fortunately, she is back home. She is otherwise okay.”

Trauma helicopter

Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden finds this very strange. “I’ve never heard of an air ambulance being called for a vase that falls over, but if it’s a gigantic vase… Yeah, I don’t know. If all this has happened – and we just assume that when we hear Frank – then it’s super intense, but still…”

“We have all heard what Frank has done in the past and that always remains a little bit in the back of my mind, making me think: is this story completely correct as we hear it? With certain things that he has forgotten, about time, and that he sometimes did not look at his watch and then again did not look at his watch.”

No investigation

Fallen criminal lawyer Bram Moszkowicz points out that the police are not conducting an investigation. “The police have not seen any reason to conduct an investigation, so you have to assume that what Frank Masmeijer says is correct, otherwise the police will intervene. That is just as clear.”

Jordi concludes: “But it is not something that you just let go of your mind. The moment you hear a story you can make a few holes in it when it comes to vagueness. I don’t want to do anyone a disservice, it is very serious that she ended up in the hospital, but you still start thinking.”
