Many viewers might have been confused on Saturday night when the representative of Moldova Satoshi appeared on the Eurovision stage.
The young artist was dressed in a blue shirt, the front part of which was highlighted by the series of numbers 373. However, the number in question was not the voting number, but the official area code of Moldova.
Moldova’s representative piece was this year Viva, Moldova!where the listeners were welcomed to the country located in Eastern Europe. The message was emphasized with performance costumes that emphasized the colors of the country’s flag: blue, red and yellow.
Moldova got 226 points and finished in 8th place in the final.
Dara, who represented Bulgaria, won the singing competition with a song Bangaranga. Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, who represented Finland, finished sixth in the final.
