The largest Dutch tech companies are lashing out at the government’s plans for box 3. According to the sector, the Netherlands is in danger of putting itself at a disadvantage. “You are going to pay tax on money you do not yet have,” says Jeroen van Glabbeek, CEO of CM.com, who speaks on behalf of a broad coalition of large Dutch tech companies. “That makes it more expensive, creates uncertainty and makes it more difficult to attract international talent.”
