Restaurant enthusiasts who like to have a drink can now book a ride home in one click while reserving their table. This is thanks to a collaboration between the Belgian reservation platform TableFever and the driver platform Get Driven.
When customers make a reservation on TableFever, they can now book a driver in one go. “The integration makes mobility a logical part of the restaurant experience, even before the customer sits at the table,” it says.
“The right reflex must arise at the time of the reservation,” says Helena Brutsaert, CEO of Get Driven. “This way, people don’t have to think about how to get home until the end of the evening.”
“If someone can fully enjoy a lunch or dinner, that is valuable to us, but only when you ensure that that person comes home safely do you really take responsibility,” agrees TableFever CEO Stef Van der Schueren. “We want to send a strong signal under the motto ‘don’t drink and drive’, especially in the run-up to the summer season.”
