A heavily armed arrest team raided a home at Prinsessenhof in Tilburg early in the evening on Tuesday. A man has been arrested.
The arrest team from the Special Interventions Service, the DSI, broke down the door of the house and entered. The arrested man was then led away blindfolded.
There were two small children’s bicycles in front of the house. It is not known whether there were children in the home at the time of the raid.
360 degree camera
After the raid, several detectives arrived on site to investigate the home. A detective came in disguised with a balaclava and cap and went in with a suitcase. More detectives later arrived, including officers who set up a 360-degree camera to investigate the house.
The raid attracted a lot of attention in the area. Several residents came outside to see what was going on.
The police cannot say more at this time than that the raid is part of an ongoing investigation.
