That sporting tradition will be preserved, but the project goes further than just football. The site should develop into an open sports park with room for walking, cycling and running. The municipality wants to make the domain more widely accessible for sports and recreation.
After the ongoing permit procedure, the start of the works is expected in early 2028. The construction site would take more than a year and a half.
