Care worker Ulrike and intern Pieter carefully put on VR glasses. Every day at work they are surrounded by people who suffer from severe dementia, sometimes even with aggressive behavior. In the Overspaarne residential home, everyone who comes into contact with the residents is informed as best as possible about the disease.

Through a realistic film from the training company Ideon, Ulrike and Pieter get ‘into the head’ of a man with dementia. “I thought it was only for games. But now I understand the people who walk through the hallway here much better,” says Pieter in the NH report below.
