The Arket brand, which belongs to the Swedish clothing group Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), is continuing to expand its presence in Germany.
On Tuesday it announced the opening of a new branch in Düsseldorf this year. In the North Rhine-Westphalia state capital, Arket will in future “offer a curated selection of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories for women and men, children’s clothing and home furnishings,” according to a statement.
With this new opening, the brand, founded in 2017, increases the number of its German locations to seven. It is already represented in this country with its own stores in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne and Frankfurt.
Arket managing director Pernilla Wohlfahrt praised the move. “We are very pleased to continue our expansion in Germany with a new store in the beautiful city of Düsseldorf,” she said in a statement. “This new location allows us to connect with our growing local community and invite them to experience our modern market up close.”
