A British site has created an analysis of a typical Eurovision winner.

The opening of Eurovision was celebrated on Sunday in Vienna. PDO

British betting site comparison and betting analysis publisher Mybettingsites has created a profile of the so-called typical Eurovision winner based on data from Eurovision history.

The supercomputer developed by the site has analyzed the history of Eurovision since the beginning of the competition in 1956 and tried to estimate the most likely winner of this year based on historical statistics.

Based on the analysis, the machine has formed a profile of a typical Eurovision winner based on 70 years of winner data. It has identified the five most common characteristics, and in connection with each has been calculated how large a proportion of previous winners have corresponded to that characteristic.

A typical Eurovision winner is:

• Woman (55.6%)

• Solo performer (73.2%)

• Performer of a pop song (44.4%)

• Singing in English (50%)

• Singing about love, romance or relationships (60.3%)

In addition, the winner is typically 25–27 years old. The average age of previously winning artists is 26.88 years and the median age is 25 years.

Three of the contestants participating in Eurovision 2026 fulfill all five identified characteristics and are therefore among the most likely winning candidates, according to the supercomputer’s analysis.

These three competitors are:

Delta Goodrem representing Australia. She is a female solo artist whose English pop song Eclipse tells about love and relationships.

representing Bulgaria Dara is also a female solo artist who sings an English-language pop song Bangaranga. He is also 27 years old.

Germany’s Sarah Engels also performs a solo English pop song Firewhich is about love, romance and relationships.

The website also compiled the statistics of this year’s contestants from social media and streaming services to find out who are the most followed and most watched performers on different platforms.

Based on the statistics, the Italian Sal Da Vinci’s Per Semper Sì is the most listened to this year’s five songs on Spotify with 23.6 million plays.

The most viewed of the contestants’ official YouTube music videos is currently the song by Cyprus representative Antigoni On foot. The video has 4.9 million views.

Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen Flamethrower takes second place on the list with 3 million impressions.

The previously mentioned Sarah Engels is the most followed of the five representatives on Instagram, where she has 1.8 million followers. He also leads Tiktok statistics with 731,000 followers and 7.5 million video likes.

Sal Da Vinci is also heavily featured on social media. He ranks third in Instagram followers with 730,000 followers and second in Tiktok with 650,000 followers.
