EQS-Adhoc: ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA adjusts forecast for 2026 and complies with the obligation to report losses in accordance with Section 92 (1) AktG – draft of the restructuring report submitted

ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA (“Company”) yesterday published the first draft of the restructuring report (see ad hoc announcement from January 23, 2026) receive. The draft of the restructuring report comes to the preliminary conclusion that ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA is capable of restructuring. The prerequisite is the conclusion of viable restructuring financing with the financing partners. However, based on the results of the draft, the company also has to adjust its annual forecast for the 2026 financial year. After presenting the draft and the expected future-oriented investments for the extensive transformation and realignment quantified therein, the company no longer assumes that it will be able to achieve a positive consolidated result again in the current financial year (see ad hoc announcement from November 19, 2025). For the 2027 financial year, the company expects to be able to return to profitability at the operational level (EBITDA).

The company also announces that due to business developments in 2026 there will now be a loss of half of the share capital. The company will therefore immediately convene an extraordinary general meeting to report this loss in accordance with Section 92 AktG.
