Picard Lederwaren GmbH & Co. KG has appointed Andreas Heep to the role of Chief Sales Officer (CSO).
In this position, Heep will take over the private label, retail and wholesale areas at home and abroad, the Obertshausen-based leather goods brand announced. His task will be to advance the brand’s further positioning in national and international trade and to develop new growth potential.
“I am very pleased to have someone with so much experience in operational sales and sales management on board,” said Picard CEO Martin Picard. “Andreas has a great feel for sales and people and also has a very strong industry network. I am convinced that we can take the next decisive step with him.”
The new head of sales brings many years of experience from international brand and sales structures, according to the statement. He worked for the Herzogenaurach-based sportswear company Adidas in various roles for more than 20 years and was responsible, among other things, for the Originals lifestyle line and large parts of the fashion and lifestyle organization in Central Europe. With its consulting platform Brandcoaches, Heep also helps brands from the sports, fashion and lifestyle sectors with growth, brand positioning and sales development.
With the appointment, Picard is driving forward the strategic restructuring after Martin Picard was promoted to CEO at the beginning of the year.
