There could hardly have been a better setting for FC Barcelona’s championship celebration. In the Clásico, Flick’s team gave Real Madrid no chance.
FC Barcelona are Spanish champions. After a 2-0 (2-0) win in the traditional El Clásico against Real Madrid, the championship can no longer be taken away from the Catalans. Marcus Rashford (9th minute) and Ferran Torres (18th) scored the goals for Hansi Flick’s team.
The game was an emotional duel for the German coach. His father Hans Flick died on Sunday, which is why a minute’s silence was held before kick-off at the Camp Nou. From the start, FC Barcelona were the better team throughout the entire season and absolutely deserved to win, and should have won the game even more. Real Madrid, on the other hand, disappointed across the board.
