Critics wonder whether Patricia Paay and her daughter Christina Curry are interesting enough for their own real-life soap, but now Adam Curry also appears to be getting a role. “Salt and pepper!”
Adam Curry and Patricia Paay were once the very first celebrities with a real-life soap and now RTL is more or less reviving their then series The Adam’s Family. Things will focus on Patricia and her pregnant daughter Christina Curry, but there appear to be many more people participating in this series.
Exciting enough?
Celebrity expert Bart Ettekoven contributes Show news that the cast is bigger than just two main characters. “I think Christina and her husband Kevin are the main characters. That immediately raises the question: is that exciting enough?”
He continues: “Well, Christina is very pregnant. In fact, today was her gender reveal party and I’m sure the cameras were there too.”
Main characters
Patricia will of course also play an important role in that series, according to Bart. “I had contact with the producer today, because Tina Nijkamp always says: ‘You need several people to complete a series, to keep it fun for the viewer.’ You also see that with Gerard. Gerard alone would not be enough for a real-life series.”
He continues: “I think he is the exception, but you also need Wino and Glenn, and the maid is in it, and the girlfriends and his best friend Francis. You need multiple characters, so I asked: ‘How are you going to do that with Christina and Patricia?’ Well, her boyfriend Kevin’s parents are coming in, Adam Curry is coming in too.”
