Actress Rosemarie Bergmans, known for the series ‘Johan en de Alverman’ and ‘Wittekerke’, died on Sunday at the age of 82 due to cancer. Her family reports this.

Rosemarie Bergmans was best known for her role in the youth series ‘Johan en de Alverman’ (1965-1966) on the then BRT, in which she played the role of Rosita. She also met actor Frank Aendenboom there, with whom she was married for a while and had two daughters.
More recently, Bergmans played roles in the film ‘Pauline and Paulette’ and in TV series such as ‘Wittekerke’ and ‘Back to Oosterdonk’. In 2017, the actress testified in the Canvas series ‘Children of collaboration’ about her father, who was executed shortly after the liberation of Belgium.
Family secret

The farewell will take place in an intimate circle, according to Bergmans’ family. Her ashes will later be scattered in Greece, where she lived for the past thirty years.
