Thomas Berge gives people quite a fright with his emaciated appearance. Is he sick? Was Albert Heijn closed? No, he will become yet another celebrity on Men’s Health. “This isn’t pretty.”
Folk singer Thomas Berge always looked nice and healthy, but yesterday he appeared in front of the camera of Show news. What on earth happened to him? Well, he wants to be yet another celebrity on the cover of Men’s Health and has therefore started starving himself.
Fit Thomas
Thomas, who does not yet want to confirm the job for Men’s Health, says he has lost a total of thirty kilos. “I’m working on something that I can’t say anything about yet, because it’s not convenient, haha, but I have indeed lost a few kilos.”
He continues: “What I can say is that I want to be the fittest version of myself before I’m forty and that it has also become a bit of a personal mission over the past year.”
‘Count well’
Is he on Ozempic? “Absolutely not. It’s just that you have to count very carefully what goes in and you have to know very well what goes out in terms of energy.”
He continues: “In the space of six months I have lost ten to twelve kilos. It is now this point and now we are going to build muscle, but if I say too much then I have given myself away again, so I have to stop now!”
Not pretty
Show news expert Emilie Sleven is terrified. “Can I say that I think this is enough in terms of losing weight? It is not the case that it makes someone more beautiful.”
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden: “I have to be honest… I don’t want to say that I was shocked, but maybe it was the shot or something.”
Starve
Fien Vermeulen, the new presenter of Shownieuws, doesn’t like it. “Or it’s the light. I have to say: I was on Expedition Robinson with him where you are quite starved, but he didn’t look like that at the end either.”
In any case, celebrity expert Bart Ettekoven is getting tired of all those celebrities on the Men’s Health cover. “Is that some kind of hype nowadays?”
