Three men were injured in a stabbing in Orthenstraat in Den Bosch on Saturday evening. There would have been an argument. Police arrested a suspect almost two hours later, police said.
A man has been arrested in Den Bosch-West. Furthermore, much is still unclear about the stabbing that happened around half past seven. It is not clear where exactly this was. An argument reportedly broke out, after which the victims fled into a snack bar. Here they waited for the emergency services.
Police and several ambulances arrived on the scene. All three injured people are young adults and were still responsive when they were taken to a hospital by ambulance. They are acquaintances of each other.
Stab wounds
The victims suffered stab wounds in places in the arms, legs and abdomen. One is more seriously injured than the other. “The injuries are not life-threatening,” a police spokesperson said.
Initially, no suspect had been arrested. The police were looking for someone. Later a moon was retained. That was around a quarter past nine.
The investigation continues even after the arrest. Part of the investigation includes viewing camera images, speaking to local residents and searching for witnesses.
