An air gun was used in the shooting incident last night in Tynaarlo. A police spokesperson said this.
The incident took place around 9.45 pm at a camping site on the Zuidlaarderweg. That site is located next to a holiday park.
One person was injured and this person was taken to hospital. The severity of the injuries has not been released.
The police spokesperson indicates that he is in good contact with all those involved. No arrest has been made yet. “It is still unclear what exactly happened,” he says. The investigation is still ongoing.
A campsite employee says that peace has returned to the park, but indicates that he will have no further comment about the incident.
