It is not yet clear what exactly will happen, but Leiedal is now looking for an interested buyer. Residents already took a look inside the old Sabbe rotary today. It symbolizes the glorious past of flax. A heritage gem from the 1930s that has been restored for two million euros. The site, just along the Leie, is an interesting location.
“This is a beautiful location not only for the municipality, but also for the region,” says Mayor Francis Benoit of Kuurne. “It is located along the Leie, along one of the most used cycle paths.”
