Fireworks at officers, a police van pelted: rioters went way too far on Tuesday during a demonstration against emergency shelter for asylum seekers in Apeldoorn. Officers with dogs ended the demonstration. New protests are already planned. The mayor warns: “We will intervene earlier where necessary.”
