Job Knoester will have a meeting with Jan Hillenius, the new editor-in-chief of Renze Klamer, but he denies that there is a TV transfer. “You guys have really gone crazy.”
Jan Hillenius, the man who was in charge of Today Inside for years, will be working on Renze Klamer’s new talk show. There was a rumor that he would be in talks with Valentijn Driessen for a possible TV transfer, but that seems to have been blown up a bit. Although the Telegraaf journalist thought it would be funny to inflate those rumors a bit.
Job to Renze?
We heard Valentine fueling the rumors the day before yesterday at the table at VI. “I’m staying too, right? Job and I are having a conversation with Jan Hillenius. Yes, it’s going to be a big exodus here. No! We’ve met seven times with Dennis Jansen, Jan Hillenius and Job Knoester and we never got together, and now it worked out on May 13.”
And then? “Then we naturally expect a huge offer from Jan.”
Wilfred Genee then jokingly said: “So we just made Job completely big here, built it up from nothing. At the table and then he leaves? Well, really! I assume he is going through a divorce again, otherwise I don’t understand it at all.”
‘What nonsense!’
Job now responds at the table Today Inside. “Yeah, what was that nonsense, right, yesterday?”
Wilfred: “Yes, you seem to be around with RTL.”
Job: “You guys have just gone completely crazy. Yes, I don’t think Valentine’s day was his day. I have been going out for dinner with the boys for a while now. With Valentijn and Dennis Jansen and Jan Hillenius. They all live near us and I think Vincent Schildkamp will also come along next week. We always have dinner together.”
Carpaccio
That’s a lot of fun, says Job. “It’s also funny, because then you have a group text in which the same thing always comes up. Then someone says: ‘Are we going out for dinner?’, and then Valentine always says: ‘Can you park there?’ Jan always replies: ‘Yes, on the street.’ And then we’ll see what we’re going to eat.”
“I said: ‘I saw a new restaurant. Let’s go to The Old Jazz in The Hague, then you will have new dishes.’ But that’s not possible, because Valentine wants carpaccio, otherwise he wouldn’t come.”
Total nonsense
There is really no question of a transfer to RTL, according to Job. “That’s total nonsense, of course. I haven’t talked about that with anyone. We’re just having fun together.”
“To RTL? No, I’m having a great time here. Why would I want to? You guys are a daily race back and forth, right? We see what it’s like here every day.”
