Serhou Guirassy could leave Borussia Dortmund this summer after two years – to Turkey? According to a report by “Bild”, Fenerbahce is currently the most interested party in the center forward. Accordingly, there have already been concrete discussions between the 30-year-old’s advisors, who are also his brothers, and the Istanbul club.

Fener is said to have courted Guirassy last winter, but at that time the attacker was not completely convinced about a move to the Süper Lig club, it is said. In addition, BVB did not let him go. Now his opinion may have changed. With Sidiki Chérif, there is currently only one regular center forward in the 19-time Turkish champions’ squad for 2026/27.
Guirassy’s contract with the Black and Yellows is valid until 2028. However, an exit clause should be anchored in it – but only for selected top clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea FC or representatives of the Saudi Pro League. Exactly how high the clause, which will apply from July, is varies in different reports. There is talk of 50 million euros, while “Bild” writes of around 35 million euros. Guirassy’s market value is 40 million euros, making him the second most valuable over-30 center forward in the world. However, Fenerbahce is not one of the clubs that can take advantage of this option and would therefore have to freely negotiate a transfer fee with BVB.

Guirassy, whom Dortmund signed from VfB Stuttgart for 18 million euros under a release clause, has so far played 94 games for the black and yellow, in which he scored 58 goals. This season he has 20 goals, making him the team’s top goalgetter.
