The European Championships for U17 juniors started on Monday. The German U17 national team is represented at the tournament in Northern Ireland, as are seven other teams who want to be crowned new European champions in the final in around two weeks. Where are the European Championship games of the German U17 team live on TV and stream?
All games with German participation at the U17 Women’s European Championship will be live and exclusively on the streaming platform RTL+* shown.
The European Championship started very successfully for national coach Sabine Loderer’s team last Monday. The Norwegian team was beaten 3-1.
The other group games will then follow against the England U17 team on May 7th (from 7:00 p.m.) and on May 10th against the hosts from Northern Ireland (from 4:00 p.m.).
The teams from Finland, France, Poland and Spain will also compete in the second group of four. The first two from each group qualify for the semi-finals of the U17 European Championship, which will be played on May 14th.
RTL+ shows the U17 European Championships with Germany
The German selection are the record winners at the U17 European Championships. The DFB youth team has already won eight times in the European Championship tournament, which has been held annually since 2008, most recently in 2022.
The last three editions were won by France (2023), Spain (2024) and the Netherlands (2025).
The streaming platform RTL+* first shows the three scheduled group players for the German U17 team. What happens next with the live broadcasts depends on the DFB team’s performance in Group A.
By the way: Germany was not represented at all at the last two U17 European Championships last year in the Faroe Islands and in 2024 in Sweden.
Now the DFB team is back and aiming for a ninth title win.
