In the American Basketball League (NBA) play-offs, Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the hosted Los Angeles Lakers 108-90 and took a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference semi-final series. In the Western Conference semi-finals, in the first game of the series, the Thunder defeated the Lakers with a score of 108-90.
Chet Holmgren scored 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Thunder, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Ajay Mitchell scored 18 points each. LeBron James scored 27 points for the Lakers.
PISTONS TAKE A 1-0 LEAD
Detroit Pistons beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 111-101 in the first match of the Eastern Conference semifinal series and took a 1-0 lead in the series. Cade Cunningham scored 23 points and Tobias Harris scored 20 points for the Pistons. Duncan Robinson scored 19 points.
Donovan Mitchell scored 23 points and James Harden scored 22 points for the Cavaliers.
