Padova, 5 May. (askanews) – Un emotional applause for Alex Zanardithe champion who died on May 2nd, at the end of the funeral celebrated in Padua, in Basilica of Santa Giustina. From Bebe Vio to Giusy Versacefrom Alberto Tomba to the boys of Objective3the association that Zanardi created to promote the handbike: the world of sport, and beyond, gathered for the final farewell to Zanardi.
Also present were the Minister of Sports, Andrea Abodithe president of the FIA, Stefano Domenicalithe former president of the Italian Paralympic Committee, Luca Pancalli. Hundreds of people, despite the rain, gathered in front of the Basilica to say their final farewell to the Paralympic champion.
