Bayern Munich have three recently injured players available again for the second leg against Paris Saint-Germain. PSG, on the other hand, has to do without a key player.

For the Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday (9 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online), Bayern Munich can again count on Lennart Karl, Tom Bischof and Raphaël Guerreiro. All three were on the pitch for the final training session on Säbener Straße – after each tore a muscle fiber.

Karl had recently missed seven competitive games, including the 4:5 defeat in the first leg in Paris. Bischof missed five games, but was back on the bench in the 3-3 draw against 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday. Guerreiro had missed two matches and now, somewhat surprisingly, returned to the training pitch. Karl and Bischof in particular are – as t-online reported – planned as substitutes and important alternatives in the showdown against PSG.

Coach Vincent Kompany had said to Karl about the Heidenheim game that there was “a possibility towards Paris. Lenny has never been injured before, this is his first injury. That also means that he will normally come back very quickly and fit.”

The only loss for Bayern is Serge Gnabry. The offensive man is out for the rest of the season due to an adductor injury. In addition to substitute goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier and left winger Quentin Ndjantou, PSG is also missing right-back Achraf Hakimi. Hakimi injured his thigh in the first leg.
