15-year-old national darts player Bedirhan Nas, who has world and Turkish championships, returned from the last championship in Antalya with 5 medals and said that his goal is to qualify at the European Championship in Slovakia next month.
15-year-old Bedirhan Nas, who fit one world championship and 15 Turkish championships into his two-year career in darts, returned with 5 medals from the last Turkish championship held in Antalya. Nas aims to win a medal by representing Türkiye at the European Championship to be held in Slovakia at the end of May.
“WE CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN OVERSEAS TOURNAMENTS BECAUSE WE DON’T HAVE A SPONSOR”
Stating that the successes he achieved in a short period of two years are a source of motivation, Nas said, “I am 15 years old and I have been involved in darts for 2 years. I achieved these successes as a result of the training we did with my secondary school physical education teacher Ali Bıyıklı and my coach İsmail Hoca. I have a total of 30 medals in my career, 15 of which are Turkish championships and one is the world championship. Lastly, I won 3 championships, 1 second place and 1 second place during the 5-day tournament at the Turkish Darts Championship held in Antalya. “I got 1 third place. I want to participate in the European Championship, which is planned to be held in Slovakia at the end of May, and I want to represent my country in the best way possible and return with a medal. Unfortunately, we cannot participate in tournaments abroad because we do not have a sponsor,” he said.
