A documentary by Collien Fernandes has been available in the ARD media library since Monday (May 4th, 2026): “F*ck Deepfakes!” The title has a certain explosiveness, as deepfakes are the focus of a discussion that Christian Ulmen’s lawyers are having: Accordingly, it is not true that Fernandes’ ex-husband produced deepfakes of her. Fernandes, in turn, points out that she never accused Elmen of producing deepfakes.

The Berlin law firm Schertz Bergmann published official “press law information for Christian Ulmen” on March 27, 2026. In it she rejects the actor’s production and distribution of deepfakes.

Collien Fernandes is now promoting the new documentary on her Instagram channel, which can be streamed here.

The end of deepfakes?

About the content: “Deepfakes, data misuse and digital violence: The new ARD documentary with Collien Fernandes focuses on a growing, structural problem that has long gone beyond individual cases. In the film, Collien Fernandes speaks with experts from science and civil society. The former meta-security officer Sandeep Abraham provides insights into the internal mechanisms of the platform economy and describes how billion-dollar advertising systems profit from fraudulent content.”

Fernandes also offers ways to end deepfake terror: “The focus is also on concrete solutions: Together with a school class, Collien Fernandes discusses strategies for digital self-defense. How sensible and effective are social media bans and a real name requirement really? Anika Gruner from the start-up Neuromancer shows how deepfakes can be exposed more reliably from a technical point of view – for example through AI-controlled forensic analyzes that detect manipulated image structures using so-called Make “heatmaps” visible.”
