At 5.03pm on 4 May 1949 a plane crashed into the Basilica of Superga. On board there was the strongest team in Italy, absolute dominators of our football and admired throughout Europe. Many have told the story of the tragedy, here we want to tell you about those guys. Their lives, their exploits on the pitch, how they played and how they had fun, because for everyone it is and will always be “Il Grande Torino”
