Mithat Pala, midfielder of Çaykur Rizespor, one of the Trendyol Super League teams, stated that, like every football player, he has a national team goal first and said, “Hopefully, I am doing the necessary work to achieve this.” he said.
The 25-year-old player, who plays for the green-blue team, expressed his happiness in being in Rize for many years in his statement at Mehmet Cengiz Facilities.
Stating that Çaykur Rizespor means a lot to him, Pala said, “Rizespor is in a very special, important and different place for me. I experienced my first excitement, my first steps and everything here. I cannot explain Rizespor’s place in words, it will be like this until the end of my life.” he said.
Emphasizing that he tries to do his best for his team, Pala said, “I have been here for a long time and played in 6-7 different regions. This actually gave me a lot of experience on the field, I learned different things in every position. The important thing for me is to be on the field and to be able to serve Rizespor.” he said.
The midfielder also made the following assessment regarding his career goals:
“Like every football player, I have a national team goal first. I hope I am doing the necessary work to achieve this. I want to join the national team very much. I think I will achieve this as soon as possible. Apart from that, of course, there is the possibility of going to big teams. As a player trained by Çaykur Rizespor, I want to represent Çaykur Rizespor in big teams in the Europa League and the Champions League. Expressing that he is motivated for the matches by thinking about the people he loves, Pala said that his biggest supporter is his family.

“Rizespor fans are a fan base that always wants attacking football and wants to see a hot team on the field. This is actually good for us because the more they want it, the more hot they are, the more we actually work on the field, especially after the matches in which we score goals and take the lead. Rizespor has a high-energy, passionate football in the home field, I can say that we owe this to the fans. The fans’ impatience and expectation of a goal as soon as possible pushes us to give more performance.”
Stating that he is known as Rizeli even though he grew up in Sakarya, Pala said, “My mother is from Trabzon and my father is from Gümüşhane. I have been here for a long time. Now I have become a ‘Black Sea person.’ “I can say.” he said.
Explaining that he has a stubborn nature, Pala said, “He is the biggest factor in me coming this far. Along with the stubbornness of the Black Sea, I do whatever I can when I go on the field. Expressing that he had many good moments in his Rizespor career, Pala added that he will never forget the feeling of championship and cup excitement he experienced the year they went to the Super League.
