A remarkable crash by Pierre Gasly during the Miami Grand Prix. Alpine’s French driver rolled over early in the Miami Grand Prix. Gasly escaped unscathed.
Gasly was in a battle with Liam Lawson on the seventh lap of the race. The Racing Bulls driver tried to overtake Gasly, but made a mistake. Gasly went over the front wheel and flipped over before landing in the wall.
The Frenchman himself suffered no damage from his hard crash. So did Lawson. Gasly will be the halo be grateful over his head. The safety bar, introduced in 2018, protects drivers in serious crashes.
Isack Hadjar, Max Verstappen’s teammate, also crashed on the seventh lap. He turned in too early at Turn 14.
