The Orlando Magic will be without Franz Wagner again in Game 7 of the first round of the playoffs on Sunday at the Detroit Pistons. The Florida franchise confirmed this.
The German international is still suffering from a strain in his right calf that the 24-year-old suffered in Game 4 and will miss his third game in a row.
The loss is serious because, until his injury, Wagner was not only a consistent scorer (16.8 points per game), but above all the decisive factor in defense against Detroit’s superstar Cade Cunningham.
Without Wagner, Orlando gave up a 3-1 series lead with two defeats in a row.
