Jonker was at the helm of Telstar between 2019 and 2022. In the three years that he was head coach at the club from Velsen-Zuid, Telstar finished in tenth, thirteenth and nineteenth place in the first division.
Second term
Jonker previously coached MVV from 2004 to 2006. “MVV has always held a place in my heart. A club in a great city with a loyal following and a lot of potential. Together we will do everything we can to make supporters, partners and sponsors proud of MVV again,” Jonker responds via the MVV website.
