At many petrol stations in Germany, the price per liter for petrol fell below 2 euros on Friday. This is due to a temporary reduction in excise duties of approximately 17 cents to ease the pain of increased fuel prices due to the war in the Middle East. This previously announced measure came into effect on Friday and will apply until the end of next month.
