Various changes have been implemented on Rijksoverheid.nl as of April 28. For example, the homepage and navigation look different. There are also changes surrounding documents, the subscription service and open data.
Documents
Government documents – including those from the National Government – can now be found at open.overheid.nl. You can go there for recent documents.
Alerts
From April 28, you will no longer receive email notifications of news items and documents that appear on Rijksoverheid.nl. Subscribers have received an email with additional information about this. From now on you can use the RSS feeds for news on Rijksoverheid.nl. More information can be found in the explanation about RSS. On Officielekennismakingen.nl contains official publications and all publications of parliament. For parliamentary documents and news items from the House of Representatives, please register Subscribe to e-mail notifications at Tweedekamer.nl.
Use new RSS feeds
Have you already used RSS feeds from Rijksoverheid.nl? You will then need to set it up again to continue receiving updates via RSS. Please note: it is not possible to receive updates of documents via RSS, because documents are published on open.overheid.nl.
Open dates
You may reuse public information from the central government. For example, you can use the information on websites and applications. From April 28, 2 open datasets from Rijksoverheid.nl will be available: School holidays and Development cooperation. Other datasets will no longer be available from April 28.
