Arvato, a leading provider of supply chain and e-commerce solutions, is further expanding its long-standing partnership with the fashion and lifestyle brand Tom Tailor and will in future take over parts of the B2B business in addition to the existing B2C business. As part of this expansion, an integrated omnichannel hub will be created at the Kamen location, in which all performance-based fulfillment activities will be centrally bundled.

By expanding their collaboration, Arvato and Tom Tailor are responding to increasing demands for speed, flexibility and cross-channel control in fashion logistics. By integrating B2C and B2B processes in a central setup, goods flows are controlled more efficiently, response times are shortened and operational complexity is reduced.

Arvato has been providing comprehensive e-commerce fulfillment services for Tom Tailor since 2012, including warehousing, transport management, financial services and customer service. With the new structure, sales-based replenishment of branches and B2B sales areas will also be controlled from the omnichannel hub. This creates a consistent fulfillment model that enables more precise inventory control and significantly greater responsiveness to demand.

The existing location in Kamen forms the basis for the new hub. With a storage area of around 35,000 square meters and a total usable area of around 60,000 square meters, it offers the necessary scalability for further growth.

“Consolidating B2C and parts of B2B fulfillment in a central hub is a crucial lever for reducing complexity and increasing speed at the same time,” says Isabel Westermann, responsible for Tom Tailor at Arvato. “That’s exactly what we’re doing here together with Tom Tailor, creating the basis for a scalable, future-proof fulfillment model.”

The location already has a powerful logistical infrastructure, which is being specifically expanded with automation solutions. These include, among other things, automated picking systems and optimized packaging processes. The aim is to further reduce throughput times, increase process stability and ensure consistently high service quality.

In March 2026, the existing B2C business was relocated from the Dortmund location to Kamen as a first step. The location will be gradually expanded to meet the expanded requirements by the end of 2026. This will create around 100 new jobs in the future.

“With the new omnichannel hub, we are creating the conditions to align our logistics even more closely with the requirements of a dynamic market,” says Vanessa Spiegel, Director Operations at Tom Tailor. “Together with Arvato, we are developing a setup that sustainably improves speed, flexibility and service quality.”
