Wreaths, dancers and a hand from the president: Sabastian Sawe received as a hero in Kenya

Kenya has given Sabastian Sawe a hero’s welcome. The 31-year-old runner won the London Marathon on Sunday in a historic world record. He was the first person to run in an official race over 42.195 kilometers under the magical two-hour limit: 1.59.30. A water cannon salute upon arrival at Nairobi airport was followed by a tribute by President William Ruto.
