Is there a solution for the screeching trams on the coast?

The problem mainly arises when the tram turns in a sharp bend. A wheel damper is a ring on the tram wheel that vibrates when the wheel shakes. The rubber in that ring absorbs some of the vibrations. This causes the wheel to vibrate less and reduces the squeaking noise when cornering. They have been doing this in the Netherlands for a few years now, with success.
