Emotions are still high for Marco and Linda van Stam from Schagerbrug when they talk about Daisy’s death. This weekend, the young mare was so frightened by a large group of motorcyclists who rode close to the meadow, on the parallel road along the Provincialeweg N248, that she slipped near the ditch and suffered a double fracture to her leg. A vet then had to put Daisy down.
