Roma, 28 Apr. (askanews) – In Los Angeles Laika start the new project States of Injustice – Chapter 2: The Collapse of Democracy. The first intervention is a mural a Melrose Avenue: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) falls on an American tank, destroying it, with the writing “There is no peace without human rights”.

The denunciation of the US role

Laika also denounces the international role of the USAbetween wars, destabilization and a system that “continues to legitimize violence as a political and economic tool”. During the work he met the street artist Shepard Fairey (OBEY)marking the launch of the project in the United States.
