A spokesperson does not want to say anything further and refers to the statement on the website.
The hackers threatened to publish data last week in a message on the dark web with two large countdown clocks. Moments later, the threat was withdrawn, after which Chipsoft confronted the NOS confirmed that it was negotiating with the hackers.
The National Police Unit was not immediately available for questions on Tuesday evening.
As a precaution, Chipsoft had disabled the connections of several customer systems. As a result, referral portals in hospitals were not available. According to the company, the majority of healthcare institutions can now use the portals again, but the recovery process requires “care and time”.
