The clouds that are still hanging over parts of the province will clear in the coming hours and make way for clear blue skies.
It doesn’t get very warm yet: about 13 degrees on Texel and about 18 degrees in the Gooi. The northeasterly wind will keep the temperature a bit lower.
Coming days: increasingly sunny and warmer
From tomorrow the day will start sunny and the temperature will slowly rise. That pattern continues towards Thursday and Friday.
Because the wind turns to the east, warmer air is brought in. This causes a clear increase in temperature.
Friday: summer peak up to 24 degrees
On Thursday it will be around 20 degrees and on Friday the mercury can rise to 24 degrees. This makes it feel like summer in the province.
Weekend: less warm and chance of showers
That heat doesn’t last long. The temperature will gradually drop again over the weekend. It will remain mild at around 20 degrees, but the chance of showers is clearly increasing.
It also becomes cloudy more often.
