VIDEO De Carolis in tears: “They destroyed and set fire to my gym”

On the afternoon of Sunday 26 April a fire devastated the sports center in Monterosi of former world super middleweight champion Giovanni De Carolis, destroying in particular the boxing room. According to an initial reconstruction, a young man who frequents the gym first started damaging the structure using weights, then started the fire. The boy was stopped by the Carabinieri and taken away for checks. De Carolis, emotionally touched by what happened and with teary eyes, denounced the fact with this video published on his social profile: “We have lost twenty years of work and dreams shared with the kids. But we always get back up”
