New deal for Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc: The Ferrari driver will now become the new face of a world-famous brand that many people will know from their own four walls.
Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc took advantage of the time off racing in April and signed a new sponsorship contract. The Monegasse is now acting as a brand ambassador for the world-famous cosmetics company L’Oréal Paris. The fashion magazine “Women’s Wear Daily” first reported on the deal.
“I will always associate L’Oréal Paris with my mother. She is a hairdresser, so I saw L’Oréal Paris products everywhere in our house growing up,” the Ferrari star said in an official statement after the deal was completed.
Leclerc continued: “I am so grateful to have such strong women in my life and incredibly proud to work with a company that stands for the empowerment of women. I truly believe that a man’s strength comes from supporting and partnering in this mission.”
Leclerc’s impressive portfolio continues to grow
Through the deal with L’Oréal Paris, Leclerc has further expanded his already impressive sponsorship portfolio. His backers include well-known brands such as watch manufacturer Richard Milla, yacht builder Riva, private jet company VistaJet, jewelry manufacturer APM Monaco, sporting goods giant Puma and many others.
By the way, the 28-year-old from Monegasque also collects a nice sum every year from his employer Ferrari. Exactly how much his salary is is not officially known. According to consistent reports, he will receive a little more than $30 million in base salary, which could increase with additional bonuses.
