FC Bayern will have to do without Raphaël Guerreiro for the time being. The all-rounder suffered a small muscle fiber tear in the back left thigh in the Bundesliga game against 1. FSV Mainz (4:3) on Saturday, as the German record champions announced. The 32-year-old has played 27 games so far this season, in which he contributed six goals and three assists. The Portuguese, whose contract is expiring, mostly came into play from the bench.
In addition to Guerreiro, Bayern are currently missing Tom Bischof, Lennart Karl and Serge Gnabry in the final stretch of the season. The first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain is on Tuesday evening, followed by 1. FC Heidenheim in the Bundesliga before the second leg against PSG.
