A gunman tried to enter the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday evening local time. US President Donald Trump, who was present for the first time, was evacuated very quickly together with his wife Melania and remained unharmed. Vice President JD Vance, who was sitting at the table with Trump, was also immediately taken to safety.
